Wait.
We had this last time... everyone did their own thing and it resulted in zero effect.
Don't rush to do something... we need something to work more than we just need something.
So please attend on Tuesday if you can and then everyone act as one large force and voice in doing whatever is agreed.

I'm going to echo what I said about this again;
It's like the spokecard idea that sound great in our head, but completely useless in reality (no one look at bicycle's wheel, and impossible to read while in motion, etc.).
It could work if there are going to be another memorial/reminder ride where all the cyclists have the same armband, but at the same time, it could be a political ride in appearance.
Point being, there are a surprising number of people who has no idea what a white bike represent (unless the bike have a big "RIP" sign on it).

I like the idea of doing what we can but I'd suggest something more permanent like warnings about cycling next to hgv's on a stitch-on panel on our bags might have more impact given that the target demographic will spend time on the road alongside/behind us, and have time to see it

Velocio is absoluty right. Lets wait until Tuesday so we can all agree
on what's best.
Hi all,
There are a few threads at the moment alongside Velocio's email regarding another serious accident and a fatality.
I mentioned in one of the threads as a response to the Action Group planned meeting on Tuesday, that a small but fitting action could be to wear a black arm band.
A few people suggested it was a nice idea and I feel it would only have an impact if a lot of people did it.
Apologies for starting another somber thread but Katee is right about something needing to be done and I feel that even small actions can have an impact.
So if there is interest may I suggest a provisional date of next Tuesday when the meeting is scheduled to happen?
