I'm currently in Paris, a sign has gone up showing a very simple road with a stick man lying down in the road with a red splash coming out of his head (not as graphic as it sounds) with the warning that five cyclists were killed in Paris in the whole of 2008. Which for a year, isn't that bad. Velib started in 2008 too.
