  • Finally got pictures of bike and face together. Got bike cheap, trying to make it half decent and failing but learning a lot in the process!

Normally plying between borough & smithfield or tooting & smithfield - probably getting in everybody's way

  • Ha! véloscoble.

  • I must says that's quite a nice look Peugeot.

    Stem is a bit long...

  • howdy,

should've done this ages ago i guess but hey.

my mug and a nice pint

    my bike,

still needs drops and sadly she's been off the road for a couple weeks until i can find a new complete axle assembly. Hit me up if anyone knows where to get one. Will @ hubjub did his best but could, petra cycles said they're out til the end of the month and Madison Sales said today to get in touch with LBS as most of them have an account with them. Bummmmer.

    nice to meet you all

  • are you old enough to drink beer??
you look about 10 in that pic

  • ha. yes. ive been kicking about for 21 years.

  • I must says that's quite a nice look Peugeot.

    if you mean my holdsworth?
it still have much to be done (bars, stem, front wheel, frame...) but the finished result will be quite nice (i imagine).

He looks like your little brother Ed

this is unfair. my grandparents cleaner said to my granddad "oh, so your son is finally showing he age" with regards to a picture of me.

    Stem is a bit long...

    50mil, innit!

    Is this your headbadge:

    ?

  • Is this your headbadge:

    ?

Nah, don't want to run into trouble with Lockheed Martin. Might drop a laser-guided bomb on my ass.

  • if you mean my holdsworth?

A holdsworth that look like a peugeot??

  • Waste of a Bianchi then if you ask me. How's a £1000 worth of bike gonna fly as a fixed?

either this is a joke or you're on the wrong forum with the wrong bikes and the wrong interests.

edit: ah, pistanator got wound up. okay if it wound pistanator up then worth it either way.

  • is that a swagger red biff?

  • @ propeler ha. just had a little look around. Had read the old wondrous thread involving onone a ages ago and never put 1+1 together. I'm not totally sure if its a swagger. I doesn't have the really cool graphic unfortunately ;) But the frame seems very similar. I bought the F&F and wheels off of marcola who gave me a lovely deal and got the rest myself. But i could well be riding some of what used to be a swagger bicycle. Its nice though!!! Real nice.

  • A holdsworth that look like a peugeot??

were you talking about my bike? because i can't see any peugeots recently? or have i missed something?

  • Richie's love child?

  • the bastard lovechild of BRM and greasy..

  • were you talking about my bike? because i can't see any peugeots recently? or have i missed something?

skelator already point out the resemblance, either someone have put those Peugeot decal on the top tube and seat tube, or the Holdsworth is a Peugeot.

Are you quite sure it's a Holdsworth?

  • Have to admit Joshua, when you posted that bike I thought it was a Peugot immediately having seen quite a few pugs (Thanks Egg)... Looks like someone changed the down tube to a Holdsworth if that's even remotely possible

  • Good detective work Ed & skelator.

Velo libre, what does your bike's head-badge look like? A lion?

    This is actually quite funny.
