Help! My lock's seized up and my bike is trapped!

+1 to graphite. i've used if before on my kryptonite and loads of other locks, great stuff. didn't use a pencil though i had a bottle of graphite dust. not sure if you could use a pencil, what one would you use? hb, 2b etc?

I was told that pencils don't have proper graphite in anymore, so it's not as good as proper graphite dry lubrication powder. I was guessing there'd be some sort of stabiliser or binder in there as well maybe - just wiki'd it up and it says they have a mixture of graphite and clay in these days.

Plus you can't squirt a pencil down a lock.
