What I found was cyclefit gave me the basics. For me the most important thing was saddle height and cleat / shoe interface. They also taught me a lot about core strength and position on the bike / technique, which is all very good for long distance rides and comfort.
I think I have been able to take cyclefit advice and adapt to my track bike, which is a bit different.
