this depends on what your chainline is at the hub, whether your new bb or cranks are iso or jis.
the 115mm figure is probably to give 42mm chainline, but your chainline may not be 42mm at your hub. measure this.

ok my first post here and i'll start by saying i have searched and i've seen all the combo's people are running but my question is as follows.
have an old Peugeot frame with a wrecked bb so bought a new one and the axle length is 113mm, figured i'd get rid or the cottered cranks since i have to remove them anyway and invest in some new ones but been looking around at cranks and closest fit i found were the stronglight on http://www.velosolo.co.uk/shopcrank.html but says should be used with 115mm...will they be ok with them or does 2mm make a pretty big difference?
