You'd be better off hitting up the Sidewalk forum for this, kinda more your target audience. Expect to get ripped to shreds within seconds via a healthy dose of British skateboard humour/cynicism.

For sure, or why don't you just walk along to a skate park! would seem like the first port of call to me?? you could even try a skate...shop!! they sell skateboards and stuff like that which for the win means that there's usually 'skaters' in them.
Don't worry, together we'll do your project for you!! just let us know what kind of location you require, we'll all chip in with suggestions. And to save you actually having to go there to see for yourself, we'd be happy to go there and take pictures for you. Just PM us.
I'm really excited by your project now.... -

Where did/do you normally skate, surely there must be someone there worth shooting with?
Search function is an awful effort for me considering ive just clicked 'Post New Thread', if you really feel its not relevant feel free to delete.
wasnt sure if this would go in classifieds or not, but anyway move it if need be.
The jist of it is,
Im a filmer, live in london. And im basically looking for some good skaters to film for my portfolio, Dont worry, i am competant, know my stuff and i dont complain. Basically if you're chilled out, like skateboarding and want to get involved in any video projects hit me up. Be down to have a laugh, thats all really. Be willing to carry lights/help me carry generators and the like, unless of course you have a car!
PM me or whatever. :>
Most of my footage is still on tapes not on my PC or on youtube and the like. so cant show you nowt. Will have some up soon though hopefully.
Might seem random posting this on here, not a specific forum, but i thought it might be worth a try, ive seen some posts about skating etc anyway.
Even if you arent that keen to film or anything, might be good to have some new people to skate with, most of the usual lot i skate with seem to be taking a break at the moment.

obviously i have done.. ive managed to get a fair few people, still on the lookout for more though. ta.
I was merely using this as another source.. clearly if there are any more mongs like you about then its not worth it.

The sidewalk forums make me cringe. I stopped reading/posting on them yonks ago.

Although I agree to an extent, you cannot deny that some of the stuff people come up with on there is fcking hilarious.
Some crackers recently:
"you're the fit one, arent you? and you're rad. cool."
"stoked on having loads of milk to drink. if i didn't id die." -
