just been for only my second plod (you couldn't really call it running) tonight since coming off the bike in july. felt really good actually. just took a load of random turns and ended up going much longer than usual. which still isn't saying much. i love running in the rain. way rather have cooling rain on my face than stinging sweat in my eyes. plus all the puddle jumping adds a kind of cross country aspect to it too. part of my route involved a load of roadworks with those temporary plastic covers over holes in the pavement and i timed my stride to i bouncing off them like little trampolines on alternate legs for about 200m. lots of fun.
