Make sure you email RPM so he knows numbers as we need at least 15 women to make this happen as a women only event :)

That was good fun riding with you guys on sunday and see you at the track next week.

I am so happy to see this working.
Anyone know any way to set up a social group on the forum? Would be a good way to keep updated on track days and road days and social rides.
Plus women's product reviews...nice chatting with everyone about saddles and shorts on saturday.
I could ask the specialized rep if he has some women specific gear he would want reviewed. -

Intrestingly enough, just found out that the Altura rep is coming to see me tomorrow.
Wuold any of you ever wear a purple or pink waterproof? -
• #109
I wouldn't mind some kind of funky 80s fluoro with dots :)

love it... I'll come too

Just a reminder and aheads up.
NO long ride this weekend, instead we are tarckin it up!
Next week I'll be meching at the polo, so someone will need to stand up to lead the ride. Tricity?
I'm up for another st albans run the week after.

I can't do the weekend after... won't be in London.

Wuold any of you ever wear a purple or pink waterproof?ha! so true. But their men's stuff isn't much more imaginative...grey, black or, er, grey So bland it actually manages to offend me with it's non-committal middle of the road dreariness. How can one whole brand have so little character?

It's cheap and cheerful.
As lincoln keeps reminding me...it's not really for us, it's for the nodders.

Wonderful fun yesterday, cheers to RPM, Stelle and Guy for making it happen. Let's do it again!
This coming sunday no one has volunteered to lead a ride, so unless someone who was on the St Albans ride wants to give it a go (I'll give you the map), then it's a rest week.
I was talking to Tricity about the week after and she isn't sure about leading a ride to Hillingdon and then racing, so it might be just a social meet up at Hillingdon on the saturday then a long ride on the sunday. I'm happy to lead another St Albans ride on the sunday if people are up for that.
thoughts? Opinions?

I'm easy...
also just wanted to mention I'm going to start doing some training on weekday evenings in Regents Park focusing on, er, riding fast in circles. I expect it will be very boring but if anyone wants to join me they are more than welcome.

I'm up for it, provided I can make it in time. Wednesday, thursday or friday would be best for me.

hi all
LOVED the track session yesterday!
and definitely on for weekend ride on road bike and possibly some evening circles round the park
so fired up after yesterday i've been thinking about getting a fixed-gear...
(usually takes me about a year for such thoughts to be turned into actions, mind!)
hope to see y'all for ride soon

I'm in for RP training. I live right by it which somehow makes it sound less arduous.
-
• #120
Hiya. I'd like to join you sometime, if I may. Possibly for a ride out to Hillingdon and a spot o' racing at the end of October. Maybe RP too.
I'd wear an imperial purple waterproof. Unless it clashes with the shoes I'm wearing...

I try not to go out in weather requiring waterproofs if I can help it. Live in the wrong country..!
Anyone able to get to the south London R(ichmond)P? Thinking of going for a spin later. Geared

I can't do today but I'd like to check out Richmond Park for training at some point. What's the deal with the 20mph speed limit there these days? Are there still routes where you don't have to stick to that?
-
• #123
I think the speed limit is pretty much un-enforcable, London Dynamo get away with doing their saturday ride around there at 1,000,000 mph every week.
-
• #124
cars seem to stick to the speed limit but bikes just overtake them
changed my mind about tonight (have had to bring f**k loads of work home with me - yes, I know, any old excuse
might be up for it tomorrow though
