Last year an international transport expert said Sydney drivers were more hostile towards cyclists than motorists of any other country.
also, the comments are an embarrassment. standard "they can have rights when they pay road tax" shit. come up with something new, ya fucktards! -

"The riders managed to stay on their bikes, however the attack sent* shockwaves* through cycling groups."

In one horrific attack last year, a motorist deliberately slammed on his brakes in front of up to 60 cyclists - including Olympians - before fleeing the scene.
that could have been worded better.

racist.

How so?
i read it as "it was an horrific attack when a car driver stopped before hitting 60 cyclists"
though i presume they mean the car stopped with the cyclists behind.

Interesting. It actually read "In one horrific attack last year, a motorist deliberately slammed on his brakes in front of up to 60 cyclists - including Olympians - before fleeing the scene."
I think the key bit was the "in front of". I thought you might have had an issue with the sentence structure and the Olympian interjection.
Oh well, I'm drunk and my pedantic J-school graduate rears its head. Didn't mean nothing by it. Carry on.

I have a bunch of firecrackers in one of my jacket pockets. Last autumn I got some objects and insults thrown at me by some townie blokes in a car. I couldve caught the car up easily but I didnt have anything I could do. I really wished I had that jacket on, I wouldve so gleefully thrown a bunch of firecrackers into that car window.

That is evil. I still have scars on the back of my legs from kids launching rockets at me horizontally down the street several years ago, and I was wearing jeans at the time FFS..
I haven't been so keen on fireworks since then..
