Awesome BMMF.
Does anyone remember that 80's kids show where they had these little silver balls about the size of a coconut that used to roll around. I think it was in space or something and the balls could open up and had lazers or something? I cant remember it.

Moomins animated series (can't link any clips at the moment).
Mr. Softie advert for Soft Mints. Even as a very young child, I used to feel a strong need to punch him in his creepy cocky face.

'Under The Mountain'
Was on Sat mornings for a while, great intro music, weird sea slugs that lived in tubes. Took years to find out anything about this, but apparently it's well known in New Zullund and they're even making a film of it with Sum Neill.

I found Star Fleet inexplicably terrifying at times. Weird hyper-real marionette sci-fi from Japan. The Death Ball ffs!

See also the fight scene from Robot Jox. There's just something scary about giant robots. I should point out that I went on to love Mechwarrior 2, fellow PC robot-simulator geeks.
