• Ha!

There's a couple of me there, would you mind if I 'borrowed' them?

    PS Great pics BTW.

Thanks, help yourself. You should be able to download the full size version from my Flickr.

Let me know if you can't.

  • Good shots there you lot, like the different styles. Nice monos, like your processing Kirth, and great panning Duncan!

Superthanks to everyone involved in organisation, great first time at the the tarck i had, and am eager to do more. LFGSS ftw.

  • What a fantastic day that was - massive props to Joe and others involved in organising the day. Too many golden moments to list them here!

Brilliant weather, racing and company. LFGSS Tarck ftw!!!!

And thanks for the photos guys - keep em coming!

  • haha my hat did the rounds at the pub, its in more pictures than me. for some reason it became the 'dance hat'

And thanks for putting the b's sprint final right Clive.

  • So glad someone managed to capture Illy's homage to Cav, just one of many memorable moments.

Please don't encourage him! I have to deal with this nonsense on a daily basis :)

Wicked wicked day, fun racing and just sorry that I didn't get the chance to talk to more people. Thanks ever so for all the support people, it makes me feel dead good like!

  • Thanks for another super-duper day. Glad someone managed to catch the Cav moment, if only from the side.

The quality of racing was really good, and it was nice to hear some people talking about how they've been inspired to come to the track more often. Well done to Joe & co for making it smooth and safe! The track days just keep getting better and better, and we always seem to have lovely weather.

Thanks to the generous sponsors for the prizes, I will certainly be popping along to one of Shop 14, Brixton Cycles, Condor or Brooks next time I need to make a cycling related purchase!

  • Yeah, I had a great time by the lapboard - real good day. For everyone who did enjoy it, please consider coming again - if only to improve your placing for the next LFGSS track day!

  • Where are you looking JC?

    Illy won't be happy :-)

I'm looking at the camera, as if to say "Man I look hot on this damn cool bike".

  • I think you'd have looked hotter with the bibs out.

  • Thanks to the generous sponsors for the prizes, I will certainly be popping along to one of Shop 14, Brixton Cycles, Condor or Brooks next time I need to make a cycling related purchase!

See! he's at it again...can't wait to see the 'Brooks-themed-over-the-line-winning-gesture', sure it'll be a classic. Or not. ;)

  • Aw, is there anywhere we can find subtitled for me and Eggscoble? (Is it on iplayer etc?)

  • thanks for the embarrassment Clive, it has been noted. Noted, and will be repaid!

  • It's what you said about black socks that upset me ;o)

Yesterday JC mentioned his interview and so I looked that up and came upon the archives. You both did well.

  • I said yes to black socks...didn't I? Haven't I seen you in black socks? Well, Symon says white so there's something for everyone.

  • And for anyone who tried the second link and failed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h70lNlgY-WM

  • Stelle, you said "black socks are ok with suits".

I presume you meant skin suits ;o)

  • If you wear white socks with your suit (or a white suit with your socks) then you're treading murky water...but I'm really not fussed what colour anyone's socks are, I just got forced into giving an opinion!

  • great fun, the sun always seems to come out for track day

  • Was a shame I couldn't stay around afterwards after such a cracking day.
I'd all but talked myself out of participation after an accident a couple of weeks ago, but started feeling better during the week. I felt spectacularly unfit out there after a summer of disappointingly little riding of any kind, but what has become very apparent since this time last year is the improvement in those at the top. Testament to putting in the hours - damn impressive, and inspiration for me to ride more and harder over the winter.

  • A fantastic day, cheers to Jo, Rob, Jason and all the lovely sponsors who helped to make it so great. Its amazing how the weather always seems to be great for these too. So thanks to whoever arranged that one also.

Glad that so many people came and enjoyed themselves. Hopefully, they will be back to the weekend/Monday night training.
