that was so much fun
as a novice parts were quite unnerving and i really need to get back down and train and learn hw to ride the track - so different to road cycling where i try to avoid anaerobic work
thanks to all for making it a great day in the sun, especially the organisers
love for the forum yada yada

monkeymanshorn, great pictures. I presume they are only in b&w? Actually, the lack of glaring pink shows off the rather pleasant geometry of my Steegmans. Thank you.
i do love that electric pink. no, the pictures started out in colour, but i thought they would be better as a B&W set for some reason.
if you want a colour copy of your bike pic, pm me your e mail address

So glad someone managed to capture Illy's homage to Cav, just one of many memorable moments.
Great day out folks.

What an amazing place!! (as of course most of you already know!) I eventually got a green card from the missus and we all had a lovely time just spectating... of course now i'll defo be back with bike next time..... :) Sorry i missed/didn't spot you Maxcrow :(
Seems like i missed all the action by getting there early and leaving too early! I should have read the thread more closely:(
No worries buddy, I'm sure I'll catch you soon enough! I thought that was the case as I kept my eye out for ya.
Awesome, stunning work once again mr slain, rob and Jayson!
Derney was a real treat, totally different to riding anything else just gutted I'm not strong enough to have the jump on everyone else!
Sorry I missed you mate
I left the results with Rob... Hope he's still got them... :S
And I almost forgot, I scored this bad boy... Win!Polotastic :D
I have a black Condor hat from outside the Prince Regent if anyone has missed it.
Cheers for picking it up Fiddy, I looked around everywhere... was weird riding back without a hat haha.
that was so much fun

Superb day out, still can't get over how perfect the weather was in comparison to how it was in the week or so leading up to the races.
Bright times was insane, I wonder how many cleat holes are in the floor of the Prince Regent upstairs from all of us dancing like complete nutters..?
Great to meet you Graham, Joe (at last), Oliver, lpg, pajamas and Nhatt (Loved your bike... I am totally building a bike with a coaster brake).

It was my first time racing, and it was pretty humbling realising just how unfit I am (within the first half lap of the qualifier!). A big night out probably wasn't the best preparation though...
Anyway, my aims were as follows so mission accomplished:
- Don't take anyone else out
- Don't take myself out
- Don't chuck up
4. Don't finish last
Brilliant day, thanks to all those that made it happen.
- Don't take anyone else out

massive thanks to Joe, Rob and Jason for making it happen and everyone who turned up to compete and spectate.

Was the first time ive ever gone clipped in and fixed, nevermind breakless, the fact i was on a track can only helped the learning curve, although not my loosing margins. Haven't been more scared on a bike for the first few laps in years - briliant.
Great day - Thanks to all the effort guys/gals. ;

Sure James, that's what they all say! Even I managed to get out onto the track yesterday and it was great. I wouldn't mind racing against you to see whether that really is muscle or fat you're holding in! ;-)
