thats a tidy little tool!

- Lockring tool
- Pin hole to make your own chain whip (going with the green theme, they want you to use an old piece of chain to make your chain whip)
- Spoke wrench
- 15mm wrench
- 5mm allen wrench
- 3 sizes of hex style wrenches
- Bottle opener (a must!)
the 5mm allen key on the trixie isn't exactly useful as it limited certain component, doubt it would able to let me adjust my saddle position!
- Lockring tool

I picked one up today. The build quality is a bit shit but the utility makes up for that.

It feels nice and weighty, fairly thick too. Only just opened it up so haven't used it but it feels pretty substantial.
Didn't hear from you about those clips Snoops - if you still want them just PM me your address and I'll stick them in the post, don't worry about paypal and all that jazz.

Looks good, but i think i'm still going to opt for the Dura Ace lock ring and chain wip tool. I like using my ratchet set for everything else.

they're available at ChainReactionCycles for £14.99.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31345mine should be arriving shortly. am looking forward to making the recycled chain whip.

Yeah, all I need now is some old chain and a link breaker! It's rotafix for me until then...
A few more snaps since the first ones don't really show the thickness:

As you can see, the actual tool is built slightly differently to the prototype that Ed posted - it's a bit slimmer and some bits have been moved around. I think the spoke wrench is gone too unless it's cleverly hidden inside another part of the tool (I've never used one so I wouldn't recognise it if I saw it)

That's not cast iron is it?! Porbably not but it looks like it ^_^

just got my tool and they got rid of the spoke nipple tool and the hole to make your own chainwhip (which is very annoying) from the original design. build quality seems okay, but the 5mm allen key isn't very defined (so am doubtful to its usefulness). it comes with two wing nuts to bolt it to your waterbottle cage.

I believe this is steel, not iron.
I was waiting to buy this, now I am starting to think that, despite its coolness, its actually a bit pointless.

What's the verdict on these?
Worth it? Shit?
Anyone? -

Regarding the chainwhip issues... you could just drill a few holes. It's made of Aluminium, not steel, but it seems to hold up pretty well to just about anything.
To those that were interested (can't be dealing with digging up the old thread), we now have the new Pedros Trixie tools in stock. If anyone want's one just give us a bell @ Madgetts 01379 650419. Theyre retailing at £18.95 (inc VAT). Postage 1st would be £1.45.
