Newby alert ! This is my (only) bike. It's a 1937 Baines, marketed by Rudge-Whitworth. I obtained the frame in the mid 1950s when I used it for time trials.
So it has 1950' s bits that I transferred from another frame at that time - Harden large flange hubs, Conloy rims, GB brake and Brooks saddle. In the mid '80's I had the wheels rebuilt and had to fit a new chain set and pedals.
Without question, your bike is the most beautiful forumenger's that I have ever seen. A 1937 Baines "Flying Gate", is the mecca of bicycle craft for me. I've been in touch with Trevor Jarvis to enquire about getting a TJ Cycles Flying Gate, but finances say that it will have to wait. I'm sad you're selling it. Its practically an heirloom, not a bike.

A very warm welcome to the forum.
