For Sale: Sidi Dominator 5 Mega MTB and Genius 5 Road shoes, size 45

For sale due to foot problems (long story) that mean I need to change brand. I've had another pair of Dominators I've worn nearly every day for over 2 years and they are brilliant. I bought this pair just a few weeks ago for £135 thinking increasing foot probs were due to old shoes, but sadly not, so the Dominators have been worn less than half a dozen times and apart from impressions from cleats are good as new. Insoles have been washed. They are now down to £125 in a couple of places, so looking for £89. Boxed with all bits and bobs they arrived with. Just to confirm size is EU45 Mega fitting.

Also for sale (for same reason, change in fit requirements) a pair of Genius 5 road shoes, about a year old but again worn only a few times because I prefer using SPDs. First time I wore them I punctured on a steep hill and had to push to safe place to repair, so slight scuffs on sole and a scuff on one toe where I knelt down fixing flat, otherwise again as new. No box and due to scuff only £70. Size EU45 but NOT the Mega fitting.

Don't ask me about sizing, that's for you to work out, but standard and mega both take same insoles (i.e. same length) but Megas accommodate higher arches and wider across toes. Will post at cost.

Damn my flipper like feet. I want a pair of Dominators but need 47s. Great deal if these are your size.

price drop on both (OK, only a pound on the new ones but hey, they're damn cheap already!).

Both pairs currently still available, but SimonInd now has 1st dibs on the Domis.

p.s. the Genius road shoes can be used with SPDs, they have the 2 hole option plus I can include a pair of the Shimano 'pontoons' (like outriggers) that enable you to walk (well, hobble) with SPD cleats fitted.

Am slightly less gung-ho on the road shoes but still tempted...
