RD2 and XD cranks use a 103mm spindle to get the 42mm chainline, which is unpossibly small. Smallest shimano bb is 107. I do believe the cups are removable, so you could try and find some italian threaded cups for the standard XD/rd2 BB, but that might be even harder.
the cheapest option might be to take your bike to a framebuilder and get him to recut the threads as english. Should be possible as the inner diameter of italian threading is slightly smaller than english (I think)?
Alternatively, phil wood might be necessary to get the combination of 103mm axle length, iso taper, and italian threading.
