Easter Fleches to York 400K Apr 2nd 2010

Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in a bit of a challenge.

Basically a fleche is an audax point to point ride of your own design as long as it meets the prescribed distance. For Easter of next year there is the option to do one that ends up in York on the Easter weekend and I was thinking it could be a laugh to do it fixed.

To enter a fleche you need a team so I was wondering if anyone else fancies entering a fixed team and I'll try and design a fairly fixed friendly route. 400k fixed, overnight, 15-30kph average.

I realise that April is a bit of a long way out but given the distance, thought it may be worth giving a good bit of notice.

long way off obviously dude but this is something i can see myself doing. how many do you need for a team?

I'm hoping for at least five. I think four are needed to complete but having a spare would be preferable in case one gets a bonk.

same state a Jonny, it's a long way off but a 400 k ride is something I've been looking at for a while and would prefer to do it with some company.

It's an Easter thing, I can't imagine Audax UK changing to a different weekend. We could go over their heads though and ask the Pope.
