Thanks anyway. It would be rushing things to get this ready for tomorrow so will be chancing it with a hire bike, if I do any racing that is
Alright, in advance of track day tomorrow I've swapped out the crappy 105 headset from my track frame to a nice CK one...however I clearly didn't do enough research on the stack heights, as I can only get the lock nut on 1 or 2 turns, as the steerer tube is just not quite long enough now.
So, my question is, will this be safe to ride for one day or am I going to have to go back to the old headset?
