Good Service vs. Bad Service

  • Had a horror story of an internet transaction recently that I will go in to later (at work....)

But wanted to find out peoples stories of both good and bad service they have had with bike companies, shops etc ....

Sorry if this is a repost...

  • Err, it is. As you were.

    I am ashamed

  • Good Service - http://www.londonfgss.com/thread28747.html

I started that one after too many bitching about companies threads.

  • I had some bad service whilst buying some airless tyres, deflating experience.

  • Anyone had and problems dealing with cyclestore.co.uk?

I ordered a few bits back in February and one of the items was too small. So I sent it back, paid an additional £3 via PayPal for P&P as requested, but have received nothing. I've tried emailing them, but they never get back to me. It's only £14.24's worth of goods, but it's still really shit service

  • Bad service commentary has dubious value. People just bitch about little things that went wrong, even when they probably never thought to pick up the phone and ask for a solution. Retailers names get tarnished over tiny mishaps despite them having thousands of perfectly satisfactory sales.

  • I was just trying to find out if bad service was a regular with this company or was I just unlucky 4 times?

  • I've used them and have found them to be more than satisfactory.

  • +1 for always riding. Bought some shoes in gthe wrong size. They let me change the order around and delivered all within three days. no hassle, almost instant email communication. obviously n=1 and all that but they seemed like good people.
