I'm putting my name down for a Pergrine, and will be using the adaptability to full effect. Having an offroad, tourer and fixed comuter in one frame and two and a half wheelsets reallys fits with my space constraints. As much as I don't need a disc brake on a fixed wheel hub, it would bug me having the lever on my bars not doing anything.

Interesting option. http://www.nsmb.com/gear/first_principles_07_02.php Not sure I'd go this route, but interesting non the less.
