Scott: Well as I said I am not taking responsibility for other people's failings; even less so if they respond to a thread without reading it let alone to just a thread title. I'm not going to tip toe around in case I set what you regard as a bad example. As I pointed out the threads under discussion are *one *way of making a point; out of all the threads I have started they are a very small percentage. The "if we all" argument can be applied to any point: if we all stuck only to discussing bikes this place would be as dull as ditch water, for example.
The point is I think this forum is a pretty great place as I have pointed out often; I don't share your overall view of it and clearly some of the stuff I most enjoy is stuff you most dislike. That's fine; I'm happy with the example I set as I am sure you are happy with the one you set. How anyone else responds to our respective contributions is their business.
