Well, Wales is a relatively large area, but depending on where you are you might be able to rent a bike when you're there. Try this site http://www.mbwales.com/

What size frame do you need and do you promise faithfully to adhere to the "you break it you fix it" agreement?

Of course! I should have said that in the OP.. goes without saying. It should just be a bit of light single track/xc, no hard DH or anything so I won't be hammering it.
I'm about 6' so anything like a 19-20" frame would be good.

I have a Cannondale Rush 600, 19.5", front and rear suspension, 4" travel both front and rear, rear is a Fox with pro-pedal, front is a Lefty speed DLR.
160mm rear brake, 180mm front, SRAM groupset.
I serviced the bike fully- complete strip down and rebuild, including replacing the main swingarm linkage etc, then put it in the cupboard and have not ridden it since :(
So I'd like it back clean and undamaged please.
I'm in Greenwich if you want to come and have a look at it/take it?

mate, that sounds absolutely perfect! Even more so because I have to drop it off at my mates near Greenwich as we're going in his car. Never ridden a SRAM groupset (I'm a strictly shimano usually) or a lefty fork - exciting.
Thank you so much.. I would LOVE to borrow it and will take very good care of it. Could I come have a look early next week some time?

Yep, no problems.
Give me a shout when you are around.
I was going to say that I'd ride it to one of the South drinks, but it has eggbeaters on and I don't use them anymore.

you're a star. I'll probably swap the pedals for some shimano spd's.. just easier as I've got those cleats in my shoes already.
Thanks again.
I know this is off topic and probably a massive longshot but...
I am going to Wales next weekend and would like to do some riding while I'm there - however having sold my singletrack and DH bikes all I'm left with is my singlespeed dirt jump bike.. which only has a back brake/short travel fork etc and isn't worth taking..
Does anyone have any suggestions for places I could go to rent a decent (full suss?) MTB
in London to take away for a weekend, or does anyone fancy lending me something for some money/beer/eternal gratitude? Full suspension would be a bonus, but that fussed..
Ta, Dan
