Lots of Prav's care and attention went into the build, lots of autosol and a few months. I bought it from him back in May.
Nigel Dean is a little-known builder who retired from racing and setup shop from mid 1980s till 1992. This is a 1991 Winter frameset. He is better known for his 'Tour Ace' touring model, and many still see service today. There are some examples of race frames, but his marque was no factory.

Reynolds 525 Triathlon (replacement for 531)
This was used for 2 winters back in the early 90s and then this summer by me.
When Prav got this it had a lot of dirt and surface rust and chips. It has been extensively re-touched, especially around BB shell, chainstay bridge, and under fork crown. To be brutal the frameset doesn't quite do justice to the parts, but from 4 meters away it looks great!

Campagnolo Athena hubs 36/36 laced to Mavic MA40 clinchers, front rim anodising has started to wear through. Old Chengshin skinwall tyres.
Campagnolo Athena 1st generation brakes with white cable adjusters, original chromed Campagnolo brake block holders. (Replacement rubbers at SJS). Front allen bolt is rounded off. Pitting to chromes bolts.
Shimano 105 1st generation brake levers with white hoods. (Replacement black hoods at Ribble)
Cinelli Giro D'Italia bars (42cm); Cinelli Milano old logo stem (scratches from flipping the bike have been polished out.)
Hatta Vesta chromed headset; Selcof alloy seatpost (27.0mm)
NOS Selle Italia Turbo Speciale saddle with small oil stain. Cinelli cork handlebar tape.
New (in May) brake cables / outers and gear cables.

Back in May all bearings have been adjusted and in some cases stripped completely and regreased. Indexing works well and test rides are welcome.
