looks like the glue has come unstuck ..... just put some more glue in there and it'll be fine

those old ali frames were glued with an epoxy resin. Over time, the epoxy decays and rots. Simply glue it back with another suitable epoxy compound. Don't ask me which one though, I have no idea.
Vitus 979 Aliminium frame, 48cm . The down tube has come away from the head tube. Its from the early 1980's and apparently it happened all the time in races, for me it happened commuting to work. Nice! My mate who's an engineer reckons it could be crudely fixed by drilling a hole through the tubes and inserting a spring dowel pin and knocking the ends back. I can't be arsed.
On the frame are some some Campag Mirage 170 cranks, stronglight head set and some raked alu 1" forks.
£20 for the lot. You'd have to come down to Kennington to pick it up.
