No idea on the frame but it might be an idea to
a) take a link out of your chain
and
b) if you are riding ss stick a back brake front on looks pretty crap/if you are riding fixed get some sor of foot retention like clips and straps -

Good work on the user name though, it's nice to stand out on a forum full of... ummmm, fixed-gear cyclists. Oh.

I couldn't be sure without a closer look but the frame seems eerily similar to my 1979 Gios

cheers moog yeah im not a fan of the flat pedals. its not fixed but i may get strap ones anyway.
I didnt think the chain was too slack, im learning thenCrispin sorry i dissapointed you im a metallica fan and just thought it was...fitting.
also is 46t chain ring in your opinion a decent size for your average rider that commutes now and then. it seems alright for me but am curious, as im getting rid of the chainring cheers! -

Never heard of Clavicula but I'm sure it's posh stuff.
Why'd you choose it?
Because it was the best looking crankset I could find with 130BCD and carbon arms.
I was settling on a Truvativ, but supply chain is a bitch... so much nice and reasonably priced stuff is impossible to get hold of.

In that case it works. It depends on the size of the rear cog really, you might end up trying a few variations before finding what works for you, but a chainwhip, some cheap cogs and this aren't expensive.

point taken on the username, i shall try and change it when im allowed
cheers for that crispin, the rear cog is 16t, as i said feels ok for me but seeing as i have no idea about the preferred set up i thought id ask
I was planning on asking about switching to fix gear and what it would entail if i was to want to go that route at all, i can only imagine the flaming i would get!
yeah i imagined Id'ing the frame would be tough, picture is probably not showing enough either -

-
• #15414
a quick warning, if you're going very fast, do be careful about removing your feet from the pedal while it's spinning viciously, it can be very painful.
-
• #15415
my alias is fucking awesome.
-
• #15416
Yeah mine too. You see that i used an @ instead of a regular a. Just to shake things up a bit and create a sort of atmosphere surrounding me. Which i think i have achieved. I'm quite an interesting guy.
-
• #15417
I see what you've done there. No, no wait. I can see now. A -@. Yep, I thought, this is the man, no really - what a character. Yep, definitely :-)

I'd get some decent pedals with straps anyway; fuck safety, just to look nice.
