Apart from the massive pedal strike that looks like great fun!

BTW - has anyone here ridden a Hetchins? - do the stays make it a smother ride?
I've got a straight stayed track Hetchins, and my dad has a curly made within 6 months of each other in 1960 and almost exactly the same size. The curly feels as stiff as mine, but it does feel like there is more give when going over uneven roads, like its slightly suspended, its very subtle though.
The Hetchins you posted is brand new build would look nicer with less logos on the components, though a bit on the expensive side at just under a thousand quid, still its a custom hand built frame. Those curly lugs can't be cheap!

^Thanks for that - I always wondered.
I know its new, but still - why would you drop a grand on a Hetchins and then put that a-head combo, etc on it.... and I don't care what anyone says about practicality - if it was all about practicality we'd be riding hybrids, and that hetchin just looks gash.

I'm with you on the ahead set and other ugly massively branded components. A nice cinelli quill stem and a nice campag groupset and it would look great.

FGG is just so full of anti-porn...this one struck me as particularly pengy:

To be fair to the owner of the Schwinn, I can only assume he's blind, poor bastard.

Reminds me of this Gitane from 1976, not original forks.

I find it funny that more than half of the bike in the fGG are not finished, you can tell that the owner of the bike hasn't finish it when he hasn't got a brake on let alone foot retention and talk about how awesome it is to ride it.
haha i saw that article in CW, it's almost like they've only just come across fixed gear.
