• Hi there,

Will be meeting someone after work in this area for a beer. Does anyone know any pubs where we can have a few beers where we can sit outside and keep and eye on the bikes?

I don't have my lock and don't trust leaving it out anyhow!

    Cheers in advance.

  • black sheep?

or the one i went to last friday with teenhoops?

    at the main intersection.

    hang on...

  • Black Sheep, I will look that up now thanks.

  • Black Sheep is nice but tricky to get the bike into the beer garden with you- good for looking at it locked to the railings on the side of the road though.

There are a couple of likely suspects along Kennington Road.

  • Cheers, I really don't fancy carrying my lock from the office - its phat and about 15 stone!

  • the one at kennington cross meets has a massive outside area

  • The Prince of Wales - SE11 4DW is quite good - you can take the drinks out into cleaver square for a game of Boule (rentable from the pub) - the Dog house is also ok

  • Thats the Black Sheep BRM?

  • yep

  • Trouble is getting back to the Circle/District after a few bevs! Can't take bikes on that stretch of the Northern Line I believe.

  • East London is a vampire!

  • coupla cans and a park?

  • Dog house aint a bad boozer, and you can sit outside with your bike.

  • Could do.... think that might be a plan actually. Few cans, and a kebabish.

+1 to that, my girlfriend used to work there, nice location and well angled for some evening sun as well.

nice and easy to get east from really, go down the kennington park road through e and c, newington causeway, borough high street and then you're on london bridge!

  • +1 Prince of Wales, a lovely little boozer.

  • Excellent thanks!
