it was done on the cheap for the local area in the land of the whales. the kids came up with the texting idea and acted in the video. the local coppers wanted to focus on phoning but they said TXTing was a bigger issue.
good on them, shock tactics are brutal but it will get noticed and the message is right

Wonder if it is too brutal and people who think it is OK to text and drive turn it off before they get the message

Shocking enough, you've gotta be a fruitcake to text while driving anyway.
