I think they are OK, for the money. not the best choice if you want
to use them on road though, no braking surface -

they look nice, they've got a lovely profile!

For GBP 100 they are good value with out any real down side except they are not so good if you are going to run a brake on them .
We have some for our kids track bikes and they seem to hold up to a bit of abuse once they have been bedded in and the spokes tightened after 6 or 7 outings.
If I was spending my own money for a fixed wheel road bike they would be near the top of the list .

Hey Allister. My problem with them is that I do run a front brake, which would be a problem right? I mean, I don't use it all the time, but what's the damage of running a brake on those?

Guessing the brake wouldn't work as well as it should and the rim would start to look a mess as the colour comes off?

I know. I'm just being over enthusiastic ;)

I just got a Halo Aerotrack rear - it's pretty, available in different colours and seems to be built well enough - the aerorage is the same but with machined break surface (aerotrack is machined but coloured, aerorage is machined and silver) they sell indivividually for about £70 .

It's ok, I got some Gran Compe hubs on polished rigida dp18's in the end.
Anybody tried those? Are they any good?
