Does anybody have a shiny h+son or b43 silver or white (cringe) rim or cheap built wheel ( i.e cheap hub) that they want rid of.

personally i'd place the emphasis on:

an expensive hub (moving parts) and cheap rim = better wheel set
over
an expensive rim and cheap hubs = arguably better looking

Personally, I'd put the money into the rim, with a view to reducing rotating mass.
Suppose it depends what you want the wheel to do though.

Nope, but I try and make thread titles, and only thread titles, the most searchable, googleable, and discoverable as possible so that the classifieds are more useful as more people see your post.
