My comiserations William. Hope it turns up. But prepare yourself for the probability that it won't.
Next time lock up a beater by all means, don't care if it goes too much, and ride a nice bike when you're not hanging around pissed up in these hotspot areas. (<<< All annoyingly after-the-horse-has-bolted advice you probably don't need, so sorry for that.)
I just saw a regular team of thieves on the way in to work today, some kids who look kind of Brazilian ish (green eyes sorta mixed race kids), tooled up, often one riding croggy - that's when they're cruising a spot to pinch things. See them round Barbican and Smithfield quite often. Sure they can smell the cash round Shoxton and Whoreditch come boozytime...
Why is it I can tell who they are but the 'babylon' can't? Oh yeah, of course ... pistanator's creed: They're fucking useless. And they don't give a shit about your 'pushbike'.
