Bye Bye Stella and Carlsberg (2005, Lukas Moodyson, Sweden): the tender but harrowing account of two teenage girls' descent into drugs and prostitution, it shines a harsh light on the seemy underbelly of prosperous Stockholm and it's bourgeois hypocrisies.

'twas a beautiful eurovision ballad though.
