It's quite possible that rather than draw the tubes for extra strength, Reynolds draw the tubes for the same strength, but at a lower weight than 525 (or equivalents).
Differences in construction techniques (lugs/TIG etc) will also affect the weight. I'd ask the builders for ballpark weights. I also suspect there'll not be a huge difference...
