I hardly use cream with synthetic chamois.
If I use some, then it is cheap stuff from a drugstore: milking grease. No, we don't have cows and it's also not for my mrs.
Also works well: cod-liver oil cream.
When I have skin problems (no open wounds) I use Calendula /Marigold cream. Works very well.
