it's awesome yo. i hadn't heard any of his solo stuff till i bought it on a whim at the weekend. i knew he'd produced wilco, played with sonic youth and mixed joanna newsom (three of my all time favourite peeps) so why i'd never bothered checking him out before i don't know. while i was reading up about his exploits on his wiki i noticed the loose fur thing he'd done with tweedy and kotche and dimly recalled seeing that name on a cd in the "recent arrivals" bit of flashback. went back the next day and yep, two loose fur albums for a fiver each. get in. have drag city ever put out a bad record?

Good stuff. I liked what I've heard of Loose Fur too. Make sure and get Eureka if you haven't got it yet – also incredibly good. And the EP 'Halfway to a Threeway'.

This one's good too. Some of the '69 love songs' are rubbish, mind :-)

I shook Diblo's hand in 1992. I haven't washed it since.
