But I look at the page and the HTML is right. So I'm not sure what Chrome's problem with it is.

i've been using chrome lately, much lighter than firefox,
but you know aroogah,
you could install firefox 2.0 or an even earlier one if you have problems with it munching all your resources. just an idea.
oh and also delete Mcafee too ! get free avg, much lighter and better.

weird thing is isn't chrome based on safari and safari works fine...

VB, your auto link hoovydoovywacky is a bit annoying (show broken images). Can links to wikipedia just be treated as normal hyperlinks? eg

I have to register a single button on the page as being the handler for the shortcut "Alt + S" and it's the quick reply form.

When you click edit there are now 2 forms on the page... and only 1 is allowed to have the shortcut. So the quick reply keeps it.

Hence, it doesn't work on the quick edit thing.

Strange one just now that I noticed a propos of nothing-the Beth Ditto thread, which is being posted in, isn't showing up in 'Posts'. Any reason? It does show up in 'Spy' and UserCP. There may be a simple explanation, but it's the first time I've noticed something like this.

anyone else not getting the pop-up when you get a PM? i sometimes miss PM's because I don't get the pop up and I dont click on User CP. i've checked my settings and they're fine..

D'oh--turns out that for some reason that thread was switched to 'Ignore' for me--no idea why. I must have clicked 'Ignore' accidentally.

Hey VB, do you think we could get a link on the main LFGSS page (under the mechanics and fixing bit) to the list of lists (like hubs and OTP bikes etc)? When i search for lists, I end up having to click through loads of extra windows to get to the list I want. This could make it easier for us newbies to find things too. What do you think?
