  • I'm not so sure. If you can accomplish a nice "hanging out" feel, and if you can integrate that spirit with good riding that's well filmed then you're on to a winner. Riding fixed isn't all about tricks, so you shouldn't expect skating video formats. A large part of the fixed culture is hanging out with friends (even virtually ;) It's social, and it would be a shame if a video missed that. Especially if it's trying to show the scene in a particular area. I think culturally, lifestyle elements of things like this are increasingly interesting to the viewer and perhaps crucial to the success of it.

    If you get these things right then, as smithchild says,it will make people want to ride their bikes. If you've achieved that, I think you've done well as a filmmaker (in this instance.)
