i'm up for a duel. the prancing lancer is a fencer of note and i used to pistol shoot before they were banned.

i'm not miserable. i'm verging on the deliriously content. i just can't be bothered to champion mediocrity especially when so much time and effort has gone into it (i'm guessing as i still haven't watched it) considering how much footage will have to be shot and how time consuming editing is.
i can't be arsed to watch somebody weaving down a hill, it's dull. what's duller is the build up to this momentous event. the pulling focus on the drivetrain, the silhouetted milling around waiting for something to happen etc etc. the fact that it's in Bristol isn't going to make it any more exciting unless there is a near death accident when a fixie-prick hits a wurzel drunk on cider asleep on the pavement.

Smyth, what ever happened to your blog? I quite enjoyed it.
