cane creek are pretty good and I have a pair in the post, I only need the LH so the RH is going spare....
I think that the cross levers sold for 26mm bars will fit slightly smaller to take account of the sleeve. I have a cane creek lever I believe to be for 26mm bars on a pair of nitto bars at the moment, what I'm trying to say in a clumsy way is that a 26mm paul lever will fit your nittos on the bar away from the sleeve if it has one.
Have you seen the paul cross lever as opposed to the E lever? It look nicer IMO and I think the lever's longer, so you can use 2 fingers if you like :)
