His "standard size" track pump hits 600psi.
I wonder if it's possible to make me a tiny one than can top out at 150 using the same construction methods. -

chances are that if its smaller, due to the smaller volume you could hit about 1000 psi. . . if you meant just shorten it you would still be able to hit about 300 psi due to the design

yes, the red one has been completed now and im half way through building th blue one! oh and having a pump which can reach 1000 psi to pump up one of those tyres would take days, you would want low pressure high volume (i.e. large cylinder!)
