Gabes... Take it these have no taper, unlike skipoles... How do they go together with gas pipe? The ski pole taper always seems to help get a good tight fit for the head.... Do you just make them up in the same way? Or do you have any construction tips...?

correct, they are dead straight, mine is held in with an M5 and a brake bolt, and i've had no trouble with it moving yet. I'll post more details about cutting/drilling soon.
