Keep Poland out of it.

White products were increasingly popular this year in the pro-peleton (i.e. proper pro cycling) and increasing numbers of manufacturers featured white components on their pro-level machines.
I think the likes of Ritchey, DT Swiss, FSA still pump out shiny white parts.

I feel much better now. I though I went to far with white bits. Mind you, the more ready made budget bikes are on sale on Ebay and Gumtree with white chains, deep vs and saddles the more people think that this is the way to go. There's loads of white wet look cranksets and headsets coming from the US sellers.

I've got white [...] handlebar tape on and the bike looks more lush :-)
In London? How long's that going to last? I rode with white tape for one day before having to change back to coloured - once you go black and everything...

I don't commute on the bike, mooks, so it may last few more weeks.

Mine 2 yo is also a hipster. Pistachio trike with white bars and rims and pistachio tyres.

I was in "Bike Shack" in Leyton the other day to buy some bolts and my daughter got attracted to some kind of fancy trike-sand buggy mongrel for.. a mere £100. Hipster tax for toddler, I tell you.
Something like this one, but white/blue -very heavy as it wasn't made with Reynolds tubing, more like someone pumped concrete in the frame

What? Plastic is cool, 'coz is retro. Tell polaroid users (they ride fixies, but don't tell anybody!), that they're not cool. Everything retro is cool. Well, to me retro is something from before the modernism, but for the yoofs 80s are retro

I was dissapointed to find out this thread had nothing to do with Columbian exports.
