• Vintage Plum Vainqueur track frame and matching fork, according to Pierre at Plum Ghent this was made in 1955 from 531 and has lovely ornate Nervex lugs, although the hand lining is slightly crude in places. Nice twin plate round leg track fork. Obviously been re-sprayed at some point and has no decals, but these are still available as are original head badges (I'm told). Nice proportions but not screamingly tight geometry, possibly took 27" wheels originally? Not drilled for brakes and fork not suitable for drilling. All tubes straight and free from dents, a number of small chips in the paint have previously been retouched, all threads seem good. Picture of previous owner's build for reference, sale is F&F only.

    Vital statistics:
    Seat tube 54.5cm C2C, top tube 56cm C2C
    Standard 100/120mm front/rear spacing, 135mm head tube.
27.2mm seat post, 1" steerer , English thread BB.

£285 cash, collection SE1/Waterloo, will post at cost (PayPal/ParcelForce).
