I just wrote a long post then deleted it.

I'm going to go and make a cup of tea and see if their is a banana in the fruit delivery.

The bananas are always all gone about 3 mins after our fruit delivery. Usually, people put them on their desks next to their computers. I have, on occasion, picked them up and eaten them, even though they have been 'claimed'. I think it's a grey area, legally and, frankly, morally.
