I'd be into trying the original route Ma3k made up, if only to know another way out into Essex. Think Oliver's only crit. is that it'll be a bit more built up, for longer.

Pick the route you want, guys. I won't even be able to join this ride, but I've taken both ways and can definitely recommend the more northerly route much more highly.

I'll ask again, if anyone can tell me: what route does the Dunwich run take out into mid essex?

The A104 Lea Bridge Road, Woodford New Road etc., B1393 Epping Road, High Road, etc., then the B181 The Plain, Epping Road, High Road, then various smaller country lanes until the route meets the B184, A1060, then the B184 Roman Road again to Great Dunmow. Then on to Sudbury in Suffolk.
