As an Arsenal fan I have to say that I was irritated by Eduardo's dive last night. I don't like to see that from any player, never mind one playing for the team I support. It was unedifying. That said, the result would have been the same regardless of the penalty.

PS - I love the 'celtic season over' tag. Eh? Our season doesn't begin or end with our fleeting contact with English clubs, y'know. We lost the league last year, hence not being in the CL properly. Our season is winning the league, that's it. More often than not, the SPL is incredibly tight till the last week, often being decided on the last day.

People are having a go at Arsenal for no other reason than they are a rival team.

Just because it wasn't dangerous doesn't make it right. Just because he made a split second decision, doesn't make it right.

The problem with diving is that people go looking for it. If you apply the rules more strictly people will eventually stop thinking 'if I go down now I'll get a pen' and try to stay on their feet a bit more. When that happens real penalty decisions will be clearer and people will have less to argue about.
