ool?

• #153
It has to be.

• #154
Spelling is spot on and only the words that are supposed to be capitalised are, so I vote against the OOL hypothesis.

• #155
It isn't anyone from 14 Bike Co though.

I call Ononeringpiece.

Well, at least you went back to spelling college.

All the trolling has taught him to spell, and to use the space button correctly. I feel the forum has performed a good deed there.

ip ban?

2 IPs banned, all of his aliases onto miserable status, his latest aliases banned, his email address banned, Tor network banned.
Seriously, I'm starting to personally dislike the pathetic bully.

My trollspotting skills are 'da bomb', as we say in Derby.

In future... please report him ASAP. I really have no patience left and will with absolute delight like to continue to make sure the guy cannot plague our site with his bitterness. If anyone is to plague the site with bitterness it should be me.

• #167
Tbh I just thought it was a standard troll, you get 'em on any site, didn't realise it was someone specific. Was he the guy with the rubbish bikes for sale?

Good on you for deleting all the posts, Velocio. Now could those who quoted this 20% discount bollocks perhaps delete the quotes from their post, too?
I didn't see this when it was happening, but that first post was one of the worst I've ever seen. Just what does he think he will gain by being discovered immediately as trying to 'impersonate' 14 and posting malicious falsehoods about them?

Indeed, 3 pairs in 2 months made me so angry I went back to metal and wondered why I ever made the stupid decision to try plastic pedals.
Perhaps you wanted to go on a bit of an odyssey about pedals?
-
• #170
I can't believe it myself. The forum is getting soft.
Oh, puns can be arranged, no problem. You don't have to go short for lenk.
-
• #171
I've deleted Deans clearly libellous statements.
I doubt he's aware that by impersonating a business, claiming to offer a discount and his subsequent actions it can relatively easily be argued that he has individually acted to libel Shop 14 in a way that has caused them real financial and reputational damage.
With that in mind I've not deleted any of his posts, just hidden them. I will with pleasure provide them to Shop 14 should they wish to sue Deans sorry pathetic arse into the ground.
There's a line, Dean stepped over it. What a silly muppet. I guess that's what happens when you have the mental capacity of a flea.

Superprecise: What is OOL?
I went to condor to enquire about buying just the parts for the potenza. On their website the potenza is £699 for complete buildup and £399 for the frameset. I was wondering if I could buy everything except for the frame for £300. I asked the guy and he was kind enough to give me the potenza build sheet. I tried asking whether I could buy just the parts for £300 and the figures on the sheet don't seem to add up, by this time he has had enough and gave me a dirty look and smack down, so I dare not pursue further. Here is the sheet.

Because there's no way they can make a profit if they sell all the part on the list, the fact that the Sugino crankset only cost £45 should be enough to tell you that.
