Might be worth trying to find a route missing out that bit of A12 (its a pretty mental bit just approching the M25), turning right sooner to go around Harold Wood park, cross the M25 on the Warley road, through Great Wharley, then up to Brentwood.
Otherwise looks like a proper back route. Hope to bloody make this one.
