Beware of dodgy Gumtree ads

lots of scams on gumtree. inquired about a two-bed flat that seemed too good to be true. the person asked me to bring the deposit when i go to inspect the place. wtF?!? they then came up with a follow up email asking me to just send the deposit via western union.

thats a shocker...

I steer clear of gumtree, unless its signing up work colleagues to personal ads....
